Canon Character Section
Physical Description: Small and slim with a wispy veil of silver-blonde hair, Daenerys Targaryen embodies the physical traits associated with her family's bloodline, including clear eyes and a face with gently sculpted features. Although her complexion is naturally moon pale, the months she spent traveling under the sun across the Dothraki Sea have kissed it with rosier colours.
Sexuality: Daenerys has only slept with one man -- her husband -- and while some people might find this romantic, her marriage to Khal Drogo was arranged purely for political purposes. It was not until after she'd been immersed in his culture that she came to love and appreciate him; unfortunately for Daenerys, however, it took extra effort on her part for Drogo to reciprocate once she earned his respect by taking a more dominant role in their sexual relationship.
There is some evidence to suggest that Daenerys may have experimented with one of her hand maidens, but the extent is ambiguous. My interpretation of the character may turn to other women for physical comfort, but she is unlikely to engage in any sexual activity with them because the attraction isn't there. This said, she won't engage in sexual activity with men either unless given a good reason to - whether it's politically advantageous, or because she has developed genuine feelings of love for someone.
Given that she's only recently lost her husband and unborn child, the chances of this happening are, upon application, slim to non-existent.
History: A summary of Daenerys' history can be found here. I'll be using the end of Game of Thrones as my jumping off point in order to keep her canon as simple and straightforward as possible.

Personality: Daenerys Targaryen's childhood was taken away from her before she was even born, and she spent most of her youth with only her older brother Viserys for a companion. Unfortunately for Daenerys, Viserys was both physically and emotionally abusive, causing her to grow into a timid, submissive young woman who was easily cowed by his rages.
That all changed when he married her to Khal Drogo. For the first time in her life, Daenerys found herself in a position of power, which gradually diminished Viserys' control over her and allowed her to gain the confidence and feelings of self-worth that he'd denied her as a child. As Khal Drogo's khaleesi, she blossomed into a mature individual whose commanding presence earned her the respect of her handmaidens, her husband, and eventually his blood riders upon his death.
Viserys' treatment toward her has given Daenerys a very firm stance toward those who abuse and exploit the vulnerable or the weak. During her time as Drogo's wife, she forbade the rape of the Khalasar's captives, and even though this indirectly lead to the deaths of her unborn son and husband, it did not alter her core values - only the way they manifest.
Alone in Baedal, without the support of her blood riders or Jorah Mormont, Daenerys must find a way to survive on her own.
She certainly has the will and tenacity to.
